Mr Austen provides assessments, advice and treatment of a wide variety of foot and lower limb related problems.

He has a special interest in 'biomechanics' which is the way that the foot and lower limb work when walking or running. Foot, ankle, shin, knee, hip and even back pain can result from poor function of the lower limb. This includes Rheumatological and neurological conditions that can affect the way you walk or cause problems with the feet. 

 

Mr Austen also has an interest in minor surgery performing nail surgery and verrucae needling within his clinics. 

 

Tom's philosophy of "you find what you look for, while you only look for what you know & you never know enough" provides the backbone to his approach to patients. This shows his open and honest approach to his patients and is demonstrated by his commitment to professional development.
